Hi – thanks for the guide – everything is working fine here with a DV Mega on Pi3 with MMDVM. It connects to reflector 4400 on boot by default, and I can change to other reflectors by making a direct call to the manual ID number – eg: 4401, 44100 etc.My question is about how to access talkgroups directly – if I see someone talking on Talkgroup 31268, on the Brandmeister hoseline, how.

So this is going to be my first transmission ever. I need to test my equipment and I was told this from another user
Are you testing just your radio? Or do you have someone else with a radio that you can meet up with and test together?
If it's just you, you have a few options. You could use the national calling frequency of 146.520 to ask for a signal report. Let's pretend your call sign is KC3PBG. You would tune your radio to 146.520, key up, and say 'KC3PBG requesting a signal report.'
But ummmm sooo how do I get myself there? am currently on 150.025 over 400.000 there is a little E at the top right corner and a arrow pointing up next too the 150
